It has taken me a few days to figure out how to write this post … my name is Ali and you may remember me as I was one of the previous owners of Jennifer Garner Fan. I am sad to share that earlier this week we learned that our friend Angie, the webmaster of this site had passed away.

The fansite community immediately came together to remember Angie and the wonderful person she was; a woman who cared deeply for her daughter and her friends. Angie was the one who always looked out for everyone else; If you mentioned being sad, having a rough day, or anything she was the first to say “What Can I Do?” I challenge each of you today to honor her memory by deciding to be more aware of those around you.

Angie has requested that I continue this site that she loved so much. I am totally honored by this request and plan to do my best to continue sharing the love we all have for Jennifer the way that she would have loved. Angie, I will miss our fangirling over Jen and the talks about our daughters. May you be in peace my friend!

February 22, 2021  •  Angie  •  Family Leave

Another new project for Jen, which sounds like a lot of fun! She’s currently filming The Adam Project and her latest movie, Yes Day, is being released on Netflix March 12. Can’t wait!

Jennifer Garner has signed on to produce and star in Family Leave, a Netflix family comedy inspired by New York Times bestselling author Amy Krouse Rosenthal’s book Bedtime For Mommy. Victoria Strouse adapted the screenplay.

The plot centers on the Brenners, who wake up to a full family body switch and quickly realize the same thing has happened to a family on the other side of the world. They must unite with this group of strangers and determine how to undo the switch, all while hilariously navigating daily life in a different body before it is too late.

Nicole King of Linden Entertainment and Lawrence Grey and Ben Everard of Grey Matter Productions will produce the pic with Garner, while Jason Brian Rosenthal will serve as executive producer.

The announcement of this new project comes as the streamer is gearing up for the release of Yes Day, a comedy that stars Garner and was also based on a novel by Rosenthal. That hits March 12. In addition, Garner is starring alongside Ryan Reynolds, Zoe Saldana and Mark Ruffalo in the sci-fi film The Adam project, also for Netflix.

Garner is repped by Linden Entertainment and CAA.

November 17, 2020  •  Angie  •  Adam Project

Jennifer Garner and Zoe Saldana are joining Ryan Reynolds in sci-fi action adventure The Adam Project for Netflix.

Reynolds will star as a man who must travel back in time to get help from his 13-year-old self. Together, they encounter their late father, who is now the same age as Reynolds.

Garner is playing the boy’s mother while Saldana’s is the adult character’s wife, a fighter pilot.

Jonathan Tropper is behind the screenplay, a rewrite based on a script by Mark Levin, Jennifer Flackett, and TS Nowlin.

Along with Levy and Reynolds, Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger will produce for Skydance, which worked with the streamer on Six Underground and Old Guard, and developed The Adam Project.

Executive producers are Dan Levine and Dan Cohen for 21 Laps, George Dewey and Patrick Gooing for Maximum Effort, as well as Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett.

The Adam Project will be the first project under The Group Effort Initiative, a self-financed diversity and inclusion program from Reynolds’ Maximum Effort and Blake Lively’s B for Effort banner that aims to give people of color, across all ages, a chance to work and learn on the actor’s productions.

Garner, who is working with Netflix on feature comedy Yes Day, is repped by CAA, Linden and Sloane Offer.
